English Club TV will launch its HD channel on April 1.
“Increasing enthusiasm and availability of educating via TV and the desire to provide spectacular entertainment, meant it was a natural move for English Club TV Channel to offer learning in high definition and launch English Club TV HD,” said Andrew Semchenko, CEO of ECTV Network Limited.
“Consumer demand is accelerating, the price barrier is falling and HDTV home equipment is becoming more affordable. Many people already have their own HD sets at home and their number will be increasing to 220 million in 2018. HD cable and satellite distribution and subscription packages are on the rise. So it’s the right time for ECTV Network Limited to launch English Club TV HD.
“We aim to deliver this sensational experience to viewers in as many HDTV-equipped homes as possible and in as many countries in Europe where English Club TV is broadcast. Our next step will be considering the possibility of broadcasting English Club TV HD in the Pan-Asian region.”
As previously reported the educational channel, English Club TV, is available for different providers in Asia, African Continent and the Middle East through MEASAT 3A Satellite.
