The Dutch VOD Ximon service for Dutch movies and TV series is now available on LG Smart TVs.
“We are delighted that the Ximon app is from now available on LG Smart TVs. With this service a world of entertainment is within easy reach,” said Claudia Nijland, business development manager, LG Smart TV, in a statement.
“With the smart LG Magic Motion Remote control people can point, click and select with one simple move from a large selection of domestic and foreign quality films, both ‘pay per view’ and on a subscription basis.”
People who buy a LG smart TV during the first quarter of 2013 will receive a voucher for a one-month free subscription to Ximon Plus.
Ximon is the first and only Dutch VOD service that offers viewers a ‘all you can watch’ subscription offer: Ximon Plus. The service is now available on LG and Samsung smart TVs, Macs and PCs as well as on iPad and iPhones.
For € 9.50 per month people can watch unlimited movies and TV series from the Ximon catalogue consisting of 3,000 titles. There are also prepaid options available as well as pay-per-view.
Ximon is an initiative of the Dutch Institute for Sound and Vision (Beeld + Geluid), Dutch movie producers and the EYE Film Institute Netherlands.
