Netgem is to significantly increase its Research & Development amid plans to quickly extend its range of products.
The French set-top and software company says it sees an environment in France of increased competition between operators as one that now offers real prospects.
It intends to focus on access and multiscreen content distribution within the household.
The company has announced consolidated revenues of €22.9 million for the quarter ending December 31, 2012. This takes the full year 2012 consolidated revenue to €81.2 million, of which nearly two-thirds come from international sales.
In a change to the management structure Christophe Aulnette becomes president of Netgem International, and continuing to guide the international development of the Group, and Joseph Haddad takes over as chief executive officer.
