The Czech broadcaster TV Nova will launch what will be its seventh channel in early February.
The news was given by the company’s head Jan Andrusko, speaking to the local press though without providing any further details.
However, it is known that the channel will be distributed by the country’s fourth DTT multiplex.
CME-owned TV Nova launched its newest channel – comedy-based Smichov – only last month and the new channel will make its debut at roughly the same time as rival FTV Prima’s Prima ZOOM, which will offer viewers documentary programming.
The launch of TV Nova’s new channel will come in the same month as the company celebrates its 19th anniversary in the Czech Republic.
