The Russian DTH platform NTV-Plus will begin broadcasting to the eastern part of the country this Friday (January 18), employing the DirecTV-IR and Bonum-1 satellites.
In a statement, the company says that the first stage of the project will allow viewers to watch over 95 Russian and foreign channels, some of which are proprietary, divided in several packages.
The basic, known as ‘Light East’, will consist of 35 channels and cost R29 (€0.72) a month, while Sport East will provide seven channels and cost R99 a month.
The other packages will be Cinema (eight channels, R49), Cognitive (seven channels, R29), Entertainment (seven channels, R19), Supersport East (17 channels, R19) and VIP Cinema East (19 channels, R199), with the entire offer being available for R499 a month, reduced to R429 and R399 if customers commit to six and 12 months respectively.
NTV-Plus was launched in 1996 and is the longest-established DTH platform in the CEE region.
