Swedish cablenet Com Hem has launched a new app that gives customers the benefits of a fixed line phone through their mobile.
Home phone mobile can be installed on smartphones running either Android or Apple’s iOS.
“We still see a lot of interest for fixed telephony and it’s fun to be able to bring added value to our existing customers. With this app, we want to show that the fixed telephony is still evolving as we can show all the advantages that fixed telephony has, even for those who primarily use their mobile phone to make calls, says Marie Johansson, chief product department broadband and telephony at Com Hem.
Up to five mobile phones can be connected to the same phone line. The app also makes it possible to answer home calls when the customer is away from home, even when they are outside Sweden.
