The Polish cable operator Vectra aims to gain an additional 100,000 subscribers this year, according to Tomasz Zuranski.
Quoted by Gazeta Prawna, he added that it will also invest PLN300 million (€72.8 million), with the focus being on Warsaw, where Vectra already reaches 400,000 homes, in order to compete more effectively with UPC, Multimedia and Orange.
Vectra ended last year with 823,000 subscribers nationally, making it Poland’s third largest cable operator after UPC and Multimedia.
Of these, 462,000 received digital TV services.
