Henri Caddeo has been named as the new CTO of Com Hem. Joining from Ericsson, Caddeo has also worked for Telenor, Boxer and Canal Digital.
He replaces Martin Kull, who left in August after 11 years with the network.
“I am very pleased to welcome Henri Caddeo to Com Hem. He has a broad experience in both technology and product development, extensive knowledge of telecommunications in general and television solutions in particular which is a very important component of our work with the future of TV solutions in the form of TiVo, said Tomas Franzén, CEO of Com Hem.
Caddeo was at Canal Digital for the operator’s launch of IPTV in Sweden and the first HD channel in the Nordic region.
“I’m really looking forward to coming to such a successful and dynamic company as Com Hem,” said Caddeo. “It’s especially exciting to be part of Com Hem’s big bet on TiVo which I hope and believe will change the Swedish TV landscape. After working for many years with the launch of new services in television and broadband, I believe that Com Hem with its market position and competent organization has very good conditions for further strong growth.”
Caddeo will take up his position at Com Hem on April 1, 2013, when acting CTO Jens Persson will revert to his duties as head of technical development.
