The Czech commercial broadcaster FTV Prima will launch its latest thematic channel Prima ZOOM on February 1.
According to the company, which is backed by Modern Times Group (MTG), it will be the first unpaid documentary channel in the country and target all age groups.
Its content will be obtained from such prestigious sources as the BBC, National Geographic, ZDF and Discovery.
Prima ZOOM will be distributed by the Czech Republic’s third DTT multiplex, which also carries the FTV Prima channel Prima LOVE, along with the DTH platforms Skylink and CS Link, cable operators and IPTV platforms.
