The Polish cable operator Vectra has been fined PLN200,000 (€48,494) by the country’s Office of Electronic Communication (UKE) for breaching duties related to the processing and protection of end user data.
According to the regulator, the penalty was imposed following pre-audit of Vectra in which 114 written contracts of individuals were analysed.
As recently as December 27 last year, Vectra was fined PLN350,000 by the UKE for a number of violations of consumer rights.
