UPC Nederland has added 21 new apps to its Horizon mediabox bringing the total to 35 apps.
The new apps will be added automatically to the set-top box. They include a special Facebook app as well as Toys From Trash, Moodlounge, UPC Live TV, FC Update and TV Buzz Guide.
Toys From Trash teaches viewers hoe to make toys from materials that would otherwise be thrown away including how to videos.
Moodlounge offers various videos – from a fireplace to disco lights – that act as a screen saver on the TV.
UPC Live TV gives an overview of all live events on TV for the coming days, FC Update offers football results and news, and TV Buzz Guide informs the viewers of the most talked-about TV programmes on social media.
