Arianespace launched EchoStar XVII and MSG-3 satellites from French Guiana on July 5, 2012.
The new contract will provide EchoStar with launch capacity and flexibility for its industry-leading satellite program.

EchoStar’s relationship with Arianespace dates back to 1996, when the companies successfully launched EchoStar II.
