Ginx TV has signed a distribution agreement with Canal Digital Kabel-tv for distribution of its 24/7 video gaming TV channel to cable homes in Norway.
The channel will be available to all Canal Digital Kabel-tv digital subscribers in their optional basic package.
Norway is the 25th territory to launch Ginx. The channel was recently launched in Portugal, Malaysia, Singapore and the Netherlands.
The fast growing international channel focuses on all forms of video-gaming, ranging from console and PC games to mobile games and apps, as well as reporting from major video-gaming events such as E3 and Gamescom.
“Our shows highlight the latest games and provide news, reviews and behind the scenes insights for fans of videogames and we hope they resonate with our new viewers.,” said Ginx CEO, Michiel Bakker, in a statement.
“Video-gaming is now a massively mainstream leisure activity and it is fantastic that we are able to bring the channel to Norwegian gamers as part of this deal. This is our first step into the Nordic region and we look forward to making many more.”
