Rostelecom, in conjunction with NBC Universal, has launched a new service for its Interactive TV subscribers.
Known as PictureBox, it gives subscribers access to a wide range of feature films and TV series provided by NBC Universal.
For a monthly fee of R150 (€3.7), they will be offered 35 films, five of which will be updated each week, along with four series, added per season and available for two to four months.
Although PictureBox will initially be offered to interactive TV subscribers, it will in due course also be found on the Zabava.ru entertainment media portal.
Rostelecom’s Interactive TV service is already received in over 1 million Russian households.
