Telekom Slovenije has said that its estimated net profit for the first nine months of the year amounted to €41 million.
This compared to €37.7 million in the same period last year and was 7% above target.
At the same time, estimated EBIT was €63 million, which was approximately the same as last year and 2% above plans, and almost the same applied to EBITDA, which stood at €198 million, and the EBITDA margin, at over 33%.
Telekom Slovenije’s operating revenues amounted to over €595 million, which though 4% down on the same period last year was in accordance with expectations.
The telco says that the estimated results reflect the successful measures it has taken to resist the trends that are currently affecting incumbent telcos in Europe.
Its official nine-month results, due out on November 29, should include those for its TV operation SiOL TV.
