Other speakers will be drawn from companies and organizations such as: EBU, ITU, RTVE, TU Braunschweig, SES, IHS, Octoshape, Orange, Eurovision, Global IP, Sony, HHI/Fraunhofer, NDS/Cisco, SNL Kagan, Ericsson and Dolby.

DVB World 2013 will take place from 11 to 13 March in one single convenient location: the Melia Madrid Princesa Hotel, Spain.

A new pay-TV bouquet featuring Arabic-language channels is to launch through connected Freeview boxes as part of the Vision network and Roku streaming devices.

Arabia One will feature MBC, Dubai TV, Al Jadeed, LBC Europe, OTV, Murr TV, Al Aan TV, M. Aflam, M. Drama, Moga, M. Hits, MBC 3 and Al Baghdadia. News channel Al Arabiya will be free-to-air.

Africa’s first international Alternative TV network OFIVE TV is joining the French broadcast bouquet on the AMOS-5 communications satellite at 17 degrees East. SatLink Communications is providing the TV distribution platform on the satellite.
