Poland’s 4fun Media group had revenues 33% higher in H1 this year than in the same period in 2011 despite the costs involved in launching the TV Disco channel and lower TV ad revenues.
They amounted to PLN15,465 thousand (€3,720 thousand), with operating profit rising by 10%, EBITDA by 15% and net profit by 4% to PLN4,367 thousand.
4fun Media operates the channels 4fun.tv, TV.Disco and rebel:tv and they had a combined audience share of 0.43% and 26.5% of the entire music and entertainment channel market in Poland as of the end of June.
It also produces programmes and video content adapted for distribution by TV stations, mobile phones, the internet and IPTV platforms, as well as distributes thematic TV programmes and multimedia content in various formats.
