Voyo gains traction

November 1, 2012 09.14 Europe/London By Chris Dziadul

CME’s subscription on demand (SVOD) service Voyo ended the third quarter with a total of 79,000 subscribers.

In a presentation accompanying its latest set of results, the company says that Voyo already offers 1,000 titles in the Czech Republic and the aim is to have the same number also available in each of CME territory.

It adds that the rollout of Voyo Cinema, a channel that streams content from the SVOD package, has been completed across all CME territories – the company is present in a total of six in CEE – and that Voyo is currently available on PCs, tablets, smartphones and connected TVs.

Looking at specific markets, Voyo has been doing particularly well in Romania, where it had an average monthly audience of 448,000 unique visitors.

The highest average monthly video views per subscriber was meanwhile 30 and recorded in Bulgaria.
