Pro TV and RCS&RDS, two of the leading players in Romania’s TV industry, have signed an agreement under which the latter will be able to distribute the VOD service Voyo.
Voyo.ro currently offers viewers some 700 movies and series, with the number set to rise to over 1,000 by the end of the year.
According to Pro TV, it already has “more than 500,000 active accounts” in the country.
Pro TV is part of the CME group, whose stations in five other CME markets also offer their viewers Voyo.
RCS&RDS is meanwhile the leading cable and DTH operator in Romania, with over 3 million subscribers to its TV and internet services.
It, too, has a presence in five other CEE markets.
