Sweden’s TV4 is to make all 11 channels in its portfolio available through its TV4 Play streaming service.
TV4, Sjuan, TV4 Sport, TV4 Sport Xtra, TV4 News, TV11, TV4 Film, TV4 Komedi, TV4 Guld, TV4 Fakta and TV4 Fakta XL are included as part of the TV4 Premium offer.
“TV4 Play is now moving from being primarily an on-demand service to also become a real TV service. Simplicity and the user television experience is the focus of everything we do with TV4 Play. Now, viewers can easily take all our channels wherever they want. We’ve taken the “TV everywhere” concept further than any of our competitors have done so far”, says Cecilia Beck-Friis, CEO TV4 Digital Media.
The channels will be available via computer, mobile phone and tablets. At the same time TV4 Play has undergone a redesign that also emphasizes the presence of free content.
TV4 itself will be available within the free ad-supported section as will its content from the previous seven days.
