The Austrian telecoms provider MyPhone is launching a set-top box that promises to bring over 200 digital TV internet TV channels to a regular TV set.
The basic digital TV package also offers additional bouquets, as well as DNLA functionality for access to the personal content including photos, music and videos.
The box offers an EPG, teletext, recording on an external hard drive and pause live TV on an attached USB stick.
Although MyPhone Austria did not issue any more details, the STB seems to be a hybrid IPTV box bringing together a managed IPTV service with access to the open internet as well as web TV.
The service is due to be launched sometime this autumn.
