Totalmovie appoints KIT digital Content Solutions

MIPCOM 2012 – Cannes. KIT digital Content Solutions, a service and solution provider for the digital content value chain, has been appointed by Totalmovie, Latin America’s first OTT video on demand cross platform streaming service, to handle all of the company’s asset management for its video-on-demand (VOD) service.

KIT digital Content Solutions will be responsible for Totalmovie’s VOD encoding and encrypting to metadata normalisation for its multiplatform service from internet connected TVs, PC, smartphones with Android and IOS, as well as tablet computers.

As part of KIT digital Content Solutions services it will research, write and translate metadata to Spanish and Portuguese and English. The deal will see KIT digital Content Solutions process around 5,500 hours a month in Spanish, English and Portuguese across multiple devices.

For Totalmovie subscribers, this partnership will make more TV shows and movies available faster on more devices such as Android smartphones and TVs.
