UPC Polska has become the first operator in the Liberty Global group to offer its subscribers UPC Phone.
The service, which is available free of charge, allows mobile phones to make and receive calls to/from a UPC landline anywhere at no additional cost.
Users with access to WiFi or 3G will therefore not have to worry about roaming charges when abroad, paying exactly the same amount as they would in Poland.
UPC Phone can also connect to the web using 3G technology, with the cost of the connection depending on the operator’s tariff.
UPC Polska is the leading cable operator in Poland, with around 1.5 million subscribers.
