Subscribing to the Bulgarian DTH platform Satellite BG has become easier following an agreement with the telco Mtel, which has started to sell the service in its stores.
Satellite BG is distributed by SES Astra from the 23.5 degrees East orbital position and offers viewers 50 SD and 28 HD channels.
By using dual LNBs, viewers can also receive over 200 additional foreign language channels, including three in 3D, from the 19.2 degrees East position.
The one-off activation fee for the service is BGN25 (€12.8), paid together with the first monthly fee of BGN38.
The subscription fee is pre-paid monthly and viewers can also receive the service on a second TV set free of charge, upon payment of BGN25 for a second access card.
Although Satellite BG is initially being sold in Mtel stores in 11 cities, it will become available across the telco’s entire network by the end of the month.
