BALKAN BUSINESS BREAKFAST – Belgrade. Serbia Broadband (SBB) will shortly launch its D3 Go service in Bosnia, according to Dragica Pilipovic Chaffey, the company’s CEO.
Speaking in a panel discussion on multiscreen services in the Balkan region at a business breakfast organized by Broadband TV News and Telenor Satellite Broadcasting, she added that around 30% of D3 customers in Serbia are already using its D3 Go service, launched less than a year ago.
Pilipovic Chaffey also said that VOD, catch-up and start over services would be offered to subscribers very shortly.
Responding to a complaint about the poor signal quality for end users, addressed principally to HBO Europe, she said that unfair competition exists in Serbia and SBB is the only provider whose prices are controlled.
Coupled with a slide in the local currency, which has depreciated by 20% in the last year, the effect on D3 Go has understandably been more pronounced than on such service in other CEE markets.
SBB was therefore very proud of what it has achieved to date.
