The leading Ukrainian production company Studio Quarter-95 has switched its “allegiance” between two of the country’s main broadcasters.
According to Kommersant, it has entered into an agreement with 1+1, having previously worked for Inter.
This follows the failure of Inter and Studio Quarter-95 to reach an agreement in which the latter, says Inter, demanded an additional $11 million (€8.47) for its services.
Studio Quarter-95 was established in 2003 and up until 2005 worked with 1+1.
However, following the departure of Alexander Rodnyansky, the head of 1+1, it entered into an agreement, which eventually became exclusive, with Inter.
Studio Quarter-95 produces some of the most popular programmes on Ukrainian TV and some of its productions are exported to other countries in the CEE region.
