Samsung has announced it will bring the main three Dutch catch-up TV services to its smart TV platform.
The CE manufacturer has now launched Uitzending Gemist from the Dutch public broadcasters offering programmes from the three main networks, Nederland 1, 2 and 3.
After down loading the new app from the Samsung Smart Hub, people can request programmes up to ten days after the inititial broadcast.
Before the end of the year, Samsung expects to bring catch-up services from RTL and SBS Broadcasting.
RTL Gemnist offers programming from all four national nets, while the SBS offer is spread over three different platforms; one each for every channels brand: SBS6 Gemist, Net 5 Gemist and Veronica Gemist.
Until now, Philips Net TV was the only smart TV platform to offer all three on-demand services.
