Polish channels come to Vision TV Network

MIPCOM 2012. Cannes. Vision247 is launching up to 18 Polish channels on its Polska+ service on the Vision TV Network.

Polska+ is available on Freeview Channel 225, Roku streaming players and on the Polska+ online portal.

Polish speaking residents in the UK can now watch 18 Polish channels including TVP Polonia; TVP Info; TVP Historia; TVP Kultura; 4 fun TV; Rebel.tv; Disco.tv; FILMBOX; TVS; and the Travel Channel.

This channel bundle is further expanded on FreeviewHD and through Roku streaming players to a total of 18 TV channels exclusively incorporating TV Puls; Edusat; Tele 5; Rodin; Polonia 1; ITV; as well as ITVN and TVN24.

Flagship channel TVN International (ITVN) is a general entertainment channel created specifically for Poles living abroad, providing Polish versions of hit television shows from around the world. TVN24 is Poland’s first 24-hour news and current affairs television channel covering both Polish and global news.

John Mills, CEO of Vision247, said: “Polish living the UK can now watch the very latest entertainment from back home as it is broadcast. We have achieved this by combining the latest fully digital internet delivered television technology with our own experience and knowledge of the expat market to bring to British screens familiar Polish content in easy to access and affordable to watch formats.”

The latest internet connected FreeviewHD enabled television sets and set top boxes which support Vision247’s online video platform can access the Vision TV Network via the EPG at Channel 225.
