Sundance Channel has tapped Zsuzsa Mezo to handle sales and distribution in Central Europe and provide marketing support to affiliates in the region. The channel also has said it has launched in Spain and Romania.
Mezo will report to Marco Frazier, VP, global distribution EMEA. In a statement he said: “Zsuzsa will be an incredible asset to our team as she comes to us with a tremendous amount of experience as well as a deep understanding of the Central European pay-TV marketplace.”
Mezo has worked in the television industry for nearly 20 years and has cross-spectrum experience in distribution, marketing, PR and creative services. Formally, she was the Client Services Director for Factory Creative Studio.
AMC/Sundance Channel Global also announced launches on UPC Romania and on Euskaltel in Spain.
In Romania Sundance is available as a 24/7 linear channel and in SD as part of the Digital Maxim HD package and in HD as part of the Digital HD package.
Sundance Channel launched to Euskaltel subscribers as a 24/7 linear channel in HD as part of the TVD100 package. Sundance Channel is currently available in Spain on Imagenio.
