Romania’s RCS&RDS has confirmed that it now has over 3 million subscribers to its TV services.
The news was given by Bogdan Chiritoiu, the company’s manger of media projects, speaking in a press conference and quoted by ZF.
RCS&RDS, which faces strong completion from UPC and Romtelecom, has been assumed to have at least 3 million customers to its TV services – it is both a cable and DTH operator, in each case employing the Digi TV brand – for some time, though especially following a recent series of acquisitions.
Aside from Romania, RCS&RDS also has a presence in five other CEE markets.
