PIKE 2012 – Jachranka. The launch of Horizon in Poland will offer an opportunity to cooperate with others, according to Simon Boyd, president of UPC Polska.
It will allow them to integrate their services on the platform, rather than continue fighting with the operator. Boyd spoke about the movement to TV Everywhere and added that, “it is important for us to stay a leader in the markets we operate in.
It requires a large amount of investment to remain competitive… you can’t stand still and have to move forward.”
UPC Polska is expected to launch Horizon sometime next year.
Boyd also spoke strongly against over-regulation of the market.
