CTAM Europe rewards cable creativity

September 21, 2012 11.19 Europe/London By Julian Clover

CTAM EurosSummit 12 – Vienna. Operators and channels including Virgin Media, Turner Broadcasting and A+E Networks won Gold awards in CTAM Europe’s sixth annual Creative Awards Program (CAP).

Designed to recognise excellence in cable marketing, the entries were judged by the independent panel of judges, and for the first time open to non CTAM members.

“The standard of entries this year was high, with some very eye-catching and resonating campaigns and creative pieces. It’s clear from the entries that many of the cable operators and content providers face similar market challenges regardless of their geography and audience. This is a great way to share knowledge and learn from each other” – added Krisztina Homolay, managing director of CTAM Europe.

“It was really interesting to see the diversity of campaigns and the different approaches that were taken to the same challenge. As the entries can come from some very different markets, judging the awards is not an easy task, but it is a truly insightful one. There should be some very proud winners this year!” – said Nikki Bentley, Business Director at BDA.

The award ceremony was hosted at the CTAM EuroSummit in Vienna by Accenture, the global management consulting company.
