The Czech Telecom Office (CTU) has decided to postpone tests on the impact on digital TV services of LTE networks operating in the 800 MHz band.
They were originally due to be carried out between September 17 and January 31 next year and no new date for them has been set.
According to the regulator, the move has been made in order to avoid any possible challenges or disruption to a tender for the frequencies.
TV Nova and Prima TV, the country’s two leading commercial broadcasters, have recently raised concerns about the possible interference LTE services may cause to their digital TV services.
