The Czech national transmission company Ceske Radiokomunikace (CRa) is suing the incumbent telco Telefónica O2 for over CZK3.1 billion (€126.7 million).
In a statement, the latter said the action was being taken for what it referred to as a “margin squeeze”, without providing any further details.
Telefónica O2, which until recently operated the country’s fourth DTT multiplex, currently has around 800,000 broadband subscribers, less than 20% of who subscribe to its IPTV service O2 TV.
It also sells around 100,000 broadband lines to other operators.
