There are likely to be over 3 million devices in Ukraine being used to watch TV services over the internet by 2015.
The prediction was made by Andrei Kolodyuk, one of the founders of Unitrade, which operates the chain store Citikom, quoted by Mediasat.
He added that there are already one million such devices being used in the country.
Kolodyuk is one of the people behind Divan.tv, which is reported to be first and only company currently licensed to provide OTT services in Ukraine.
