IBC 2012 – AMSTERDAM. Espial has built a more efficient way to deliver linear content for multiscreen devices.
Speaking to Broadband TV News about the product, which is known as Live TV Relay, Kirk Edwardson, director of marketing, said: “Espial is excited to innovate in the CDN space to relay live TV signals in a cost and network efficient manner for multiscreen TV subscribers.”
He added that Espial effectively has three product areas: embedded TV browser, VOD platform and IPTV middleware platform.
It has an number of clients in Europe include SFR (France), Romtelecom (Romania), OTE (Greece) and Bosnia Telecom.
