Eurosport has launched a high definition simulcast of British Eurosport 2 HD on the Sky satellite platform.
An HD version of British Eurosport was launched on July 25th, replacing the international feed in the format, which had been available since July 2008.
The launch of British Eurosport 2 HD in the UK market will allow for more British focused programming to be transmitted in HD. This will include coverage of popular events like British and World Superbikes, MotoGP, Davis Cup tennis, the US Open Grand Slam and the Champions League Twenty20 cricket tournament, which will all now be available in native HD.
