IBC 2012 PREVIEW – AMSTERDAM. Stand no. 2.C30. Digital TV Labs, the receiver conformance consultancy, has become an official licensee of Dolby Laboratories.
The licence enables Digital TV Labs to offer CE manufacturers and middleware vendors a new streamlined service for Dolby pre-testing. In addition, manufacturers will have access to a dedicated team of technical experts who will host and aid in the debugging of devices, prior to Dolby submission.
We are providing testing, hosting and debugging services in both our UK and Hong Kong facilities in collaboration with Dolby. Manufacturers will benefit from a reduced time-to-market as well as the use of services that do not require them to use their time or resources,” said Keith Potter, CEO, Digital TV Labs.
Already Digital TV Labs has worked with Dolby on a number of emerging technologies including HbbTV, MPEG-DASH and the French next generation terrestrial spec TNT 2.0.
