IFA 2012 – BERLIN. Germany’s home shopping travel channel Sonnenklar.tv is launching its own HbbTV app.
With the enhanced TV service, the channel is offering additional information about the offers and viewers can also request more travel videos.
More information about the hotels is also part of the HbbTV service.
The channel developed the app in cooperation with SES Platform Services GmbH.
According to Wolfgang Elsäßer, managing director, SES Platform Services, this app shows the potential of combining linear video with an interactive service. Viewers need a HbbTV equipped receiver with a broadband connection.
