Nearly one in four cable homes in Hungary receiving broadband internet now opt for high-speed internet powered by DOCSIS 3.0.
Data produced by the regulator NMHH shows that as of this July there were a total of 853,150 cable broadband subscribers, of who 204,000 were via DOCSIS 3.0.
The number of broadband subscriptions via FTTx was meanwhile 291,870 and there were also 781,640 xDSL subscriptions.
T-Home was the market leader in the fixed broadband sector, claiming a market share of 34.9%. It was followed by UPC (21.8%), Digi (13.2%) and Invitel (9.7%).
