The Swedish cable operator Com Hem saw a surprise year-on-year fall in subscriber numbers in the second quarter despite an improved financial performance.
As of the end of June it had 1.75 million connected households, compared to 1.77 million in the same period last year.
Its digital, broadband, fixed telephony and triple play customer totals stood at 620,900 (624,000), 544,600 (537,000), 360,200 (373,700) and 275,700 (280,800) respectively, while the total number of customers amounted to 834,800 (836,100).
This contrasted with growth in net revenues, the Q2 figure of SEK1,148 million (€139.1 million) being up on the SEK1,129 million posted in the same period last year.
EBITDA amounted to SEK541 million (SEK531 million) and investments SEK191 million (SEK152 million).
