Philips is adding more Net TV apps to its connected smart TV sets. New services from Spain and Turkey are now available.
From Spain, 20 Minutos has launched a smart TV app bring short form news clips to viewers in Spain. The app is available on all Philips connected TV set from 2010 onwards. 20 Minutos is a Spanish newspaper and news website.
In Turkey, Milliyet Haber is a new app from the daily newspaper with the same name. This service is also available on all Philips smart TV sets. Just recently, a news and entertainment app from Turkish public broadcaster TRT was also added.
Also new in Turkey is Guzelbirfirsat.com, bringing “famous brands and latest fashion products.”
