The Hungarian alternative telco Invitel, which is already a leading provider of triple play services in the country, may be about to enter the country’s mobile market.
Local reports say that the company is looking into the possibility of establishing a consortium with MPV11 Mobile and with a view to becoming a MVNO.
Invitel is wholly owned by Mid Europa Partners (MEP), whose other interests in the CEE region include Serbia Broadband (SBB) and the DTH platform Total TV.
Its offer currently includes an IPTV service named InviTV.
