Belgacom TV is rolling out its TV Everywhere service called TV Overal on September 3. Thirty channels will be available nationwide on PCs and Macs, laptops, tablets and smartphones.
The Belgian IPTV provider has been testing the service since July 2011 with 14 channels. The operator is now officially launching TV Overal, which is available at no additional charge to its top tier Maxi Pack customers. Others pay €4.95 a month. Viewers can access the channels in their own home, as well as everywhere in Belgium.
The service is also available to Proximus mobile phone customers who have a mobile internet subscfription of 60 MB per month or more.
The thirty available channels are VRT één, Canvas, Ketnet, vtm, 2BE, vtmKzoom, VT4, VIJFtv, Vitaya, Acht, Eurosport, anne, JIM, Nickelodeon Junior, Euronews, Belgacom Zoom, RTL-TVI, Club RTL, Plug RTL, AB3, AB4, France 2, France 3, France 4, France 5, Trace Urban, LCI, MCM Pop, Tiji, Canal J and Belgacom 5.
Viewers with a football subscription can also access the operator’s dedicated football channel, Belgacom 11+. In addition, people can see the Belgacom TV EPG and can programme their PVR at thome.
