The Russian cable operator ER Telecom has extended its Dom.ru TV ‘Home Entertainment Centre’ service to the cities of Kazan, St Petersburg and Saratov.
The service, which offers subscribers a basic HD package consisting of more than 20 HD channels – with the number set to rise to 70 by 2013 – and over 90 SD channels, with the latter provided free of charge, was introduced in nine cities in July and will be available in all those in which ER Telecom has a presence by the end of next year.
It has a number of interactive features and gives access to the social network VKontakte and over 25,000 licenced videos.
