Poland’s leading cable operator UPC Polska has announced a number of landmarks alongside the publication of the company’s latest set of results by Liberty Global.
The first is that its digital subscriber total (688,900 at the end of Q2) was for the first time ever higher than the number of analogue subscribers (638,700).
The second was that 100% of the company’s two-way homes are now capable of receiving the fastest internet service, with download speeds of up to 150 Mbps, currently available in Poland.
Also of note was that the operator had over 400,000 telephony subscribers and that nearly 50% of its subscribers opted for double or triple play services at the end of Q2.
