IBC 2012 – PREVIEW: Stand 1.C61. Appear TV has launched multiscreen & OTT transcoding hardware solutions to reduce the complexity for broadcasters and telcos providing professional quality OTT services in a multiscreen environment.
The main aim of the products is to optimise the multiscreen experience through hardware encoding and transcoding. These products – which will be demonstrated for the first time at IBC2012 – have been launched to provide the best combination of quality and reliability for OTT and multiscreen distribution.
Features include a High density hardware-based solution for GOP aligned linear adaptive streaming; and Solution support for all devices including HLS, Silverlight, MPEG DASH, HDS, etc.
Appear TV is also promising to make a number of significant product launches.
