The Croatian incumbent telco T-HT ended the second quarter with 326,835 residential subscribers to its TV services, or 7.5% more than in the corresponding period last year and 0.6% more than in the first quarter.
However, revenues in the company’s residential segment were down 6.5%, mainly due to lower voice revenues in mobile and fixed.
T-HT also had 19,833 business TV subscribers at the end of the second quarter, which was unchanged on three months earlier but 7.5% more than at the end of June 2012.
A mixture of a tougher economic climate, regulatory framework and competitive landscape saw T-HT’s revenues in the first half of 2012 dip by 6% year on year to €484 million.
EBITDA was down by 2.9% to €215 million and net profit by 2.5% to €107 million.
