The Russian cable operator ER Telecom ended the first half of the year with 4.5 million subscribers to its services.
In a statement, the company says that Dom.ru acquired around 600,000 new customers in the period January-June, with the subscriber base growing by 15%.
In 2011, on the other hand, ER Telecom gained more than 1.2 million new customers, with the subscriber base growing by 44%.
Of the Dom.ru customers acquired in the first six months of this year, 28% were connecting to communication services for the first time and 72% switching from other operators.
