The Russian cable operator ER Telecom now has 200,000 subscribers in St Petersburg.
The company has been present in the city since December 2010 and in the last 18 months built its own network in eight districts.
In a statement, it says a key catalyst for growth has been its ‘2 in 1’ package, which offers customers cable TV and broadband internet access.
ER Telecom operates under the brand name Dom.ru and aims to have a 20% share of Russia’s cable TV and broadband markets by 2015
